WWR - Westwater Resources taps Bakker as new President/CEO

Westwater Resources ( NYSE: WWR ) said Tuesday it appointed Frank Bakker, who has been serving as VP of the company's Alabama Graphite Products unit, as its new President and CEO effective immediately.

Bakker previously served as CEO for US Methanol LLC in West Virginia and as President and CEO of OCI Partners in Texas.

The company also promoted Steven Cates, Westwater's ( WWR ) VP Finance and CFO, to Senior VP Finance and CFO.

Westwater Resources ( WWR ) recently completed a DFS for a graphite processing plant with a $119M pretax NVP for Phase 1, but the facility may be unprofitable and may never be built, Gold Panda writes in an analysis published recently on Seeking Alpha .
