LINK - Why Altcoins Like Polygon and Shiba Inu Were Soaring on Monday

Another day, another surge in cryptocurrency prices. Cryptos of all stripes and sizes have been hot with investors lately, and that upward momentum continued on Monday.
In fact, it was hard to find a coin or token that wasn't rising. From the close of business on Friday, meme coin Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB) was up by over 5%. That actually made it a laggard, as Polygon (CRYPTO: MATIC) and MultiversX (CRYPTO: EGLD) had both increased by around 14%. Meanwhile, those two were outpaced by Fantom (CRYPTO: FTM) and Chainlink (CRYPTO: LINK) , with respective 23% and 35% pops.
Investors might be getting a sense of deja vu, as a similar rally occurred last Monday, too -- and for some of the same reasons.
