- Having just looked at the expected earnings future for the S&P 500 at the midpoint of 2022-Q1, it's time to turn our attention to the more important expectations for the S&P 500's dividends per share.
- Dividend futures indicate the amount of dividends per share to be paid out over the period covered by each quarter's dividend futures contracts.
- So for example, as determined by dividend futures contracts, the "current" quarter of 2022-Q1 began on Saturday, 18 December 2021 and will end on Friday, 18 March 2022.
