WTFC - Wintrust to acquire North American asset management units from Rothschild & Co

• Wintrust Financial ( NASDAQ: WTFC ) said Monday it will acquire two asset management businesses from Rothschild & Co North America.
• Wintrust's ( WTFC ) unit Great Lakes Advisors will acquire Rothschild & Co Asset Management US and Rothschild & Co Risk Based Investments, investment managers with ~$8B in AUMs.
• The two entities will will merge into and operate the business as Great Lakes Advisors.
• Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
• The deal is expected to be completed early in Q1.
