I am assigning a ‘Hold’ rating to World Acceptance Corporation ( WRLD ) stock. I see it as a compelling but high-risk turnaround case at an important inflection point. The forward bull argument is in two catalysts. One is a shift to aggressive customer acquisition that has grown the new customer loan portfolio Y/Y, and a newly authorized aggressive stock repurchase program with the potential to reduce total outstanding shares by up to 17.7%.
