DNTUF - WPP advertising agency to end partnership with Facebook
Rohit Kamboj/iStock via Getty Images WPP ([[WPP]] -0.6%) agency GroupM is withdrawing from handling the majority of Facebook's media planning and buying. Group M has worked with Facebook since 2014, but has decided to end their part in Facebook's agency review, in part due to Facebook's requirement that the company take on greater liability. The company will still continue to work with Facebook until the review is over. “While we will not be participating in the review, we look ahead to future opportunities building on the successful work we created together since 2014,” a GroupM spokesperson commented. Competing advertisers Dentsu Inc. ([[DNTUF]] +2.7%) , Havas Group, and Publicis Groupe SA ([[PUBGY]] +0.2%) are still in the running for the attractive account.
