TWTR - YouTube suspends Trump's channel after news conference
Alphabet's ([[GOOG]], -0.5%) (GOOGL) YouTube joins other social media companies in de-platforming President Donald Trump.YouTube said Trumps channel had violated its policies on inciting violence. It has also disabled comments on videos currently on the channel.The suspension came after comments the president made at a news conference streamed on the platform Tuesday morning, according to YouTube, Reuters reports.Twitter ([[TWTR]], +1.2%) and Facebook ([[FB]], +0.2%) have banned Trump, while Amazon ([[AMZN]], +0.1%) suspended Parler from its hosting.MKM Partners upgraded Twitter this morning to Buy, saying many of the headwinds are likely to reverse this year.
