ZOM - Zomedica named official shock wave therapy supplier for the U.S. equestrian team
Animal health company Zomedica (NYSE:ZOM) announced on Tuesday that the United States Equestrian Federation named its subsidiary PulseVet as the official shock wave therapy supplier for the equestrian team veterinarians. A non-invasive form of treatment, PulseVet shock wave therapy uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate cells and release healing growth factors. "We are honored to be able to work alongside USEF to help provide optimal care and educational support for these amazing equine athletes and all the animals that we rely on for so much," said Adrian Lock, Founder of PulseVet and Zomedica's (ZOM) Vice President and General Manager. In October 2021, Zomedica (ZOM) acquired PulseVet, also known as Pulse Veterinary Technologies, in a cash and stock deal worth $70.9M.
