- Adyen ( OTCPK:ADYEY ) has introduced its first in-house designed terminals to advance in-person payments.
- The financial technology platform is releasing two new terminals, the NYC1 and the AMS1, after expanding into designing hardware for the first time.
- The devices operate on the company's single platform, which is said to enable end-to-end control and tailored payment flows at the point-of-sale.
- Available now in North America, the NYC1 terminal is suitable for businesses that have already invested in hardware but want to add payments to their set-up. It is an affordable and flexible device that is said to enable businesses to offer a fully customized payment flow in their own point of sale app.
- The AMS1, which will be globally available later this year starting with Europe and North America, is an all-in-one terminal with an Android operating system that businesses can use to accept payments as well as run their own business applications.
- Adyen ( OTCPK:ADYEY ) is scheduled to report earnings today
