Air Products ( NYSE: APD ) said Monday it signed an agreement with Bechtel to provide its proprietary liquefied natural gas process technology, equipment and advisory services to Sempra Infrastructure's ( SRE ) Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 project in Texas; financial terms were not disclosed.
Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 is fully permitted and is designed to include two natural gas liquefaction trains, two LNG storage tanks and associated facilities with a nameplate capacity of 13M metric tons/year.
Air Products ( APD ) said it will manufacture two main cryogenic heat exchangers for its AP-C3MR LNG process technology at its facility in Port Manatee, Florida.
The company said this was the third Sempra ( SRE ) project that selected Air Products' ( APD ) LNG technology; the first was the three trains at the Cameron, Louisiana, LNG facility, and the second was the Energia Costa Azul liquefaction project in Mexico.
