Brookside Energymanaging director David Prentice updates Proactive’s Elisha Newellon production testing at the Juanita well — the first oil and gasasset to come under the microscope in the Bradbury area of interest(AOI) within Oklahoma’s Ardmore Basin.
A strong peak production test rate of 258barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD) — originating from thewell’s secondary target sand — gives Brookside hope it cancommingle two zones and facilitate commercial production.
Prentice also providesthe rationale for a buy-back scheme, aimed at generating the bestreturns for shareholders and delivering higher value.
“Once we see what thatconfiguration is capable of and have some months of production underour belts, we will be able to quantify and estimate an ultimaterecovery for the two zones and what is ‘behind pipe’,” heexplained.
“Thiswill also help us to scope out the potential for additional offsettingwells in the area and the possibility of expanding our footprint inthe AOI.
“The team is now busyworking on the plan to establish commercial production from these twozones and we look forward to providing further updates as productionand sales are established.”
