- An announcement that Amazon is opening its logistics and last-mile delivery to eCommerce outside of their fulfillment seems to have gone unnoticed.
- Amazon starts slow, and adds on more services. Bezos' Maxim "Your margin is my opportunity". Fedex and UPS will have a new and implacable competitor.
- Analysts will take notice sooner rather than later that Amazon was entering their market, and have to re-rate these oligopolies and lower the value of UPS and FedEx.
- We have to expect that stocks will continue to be pressured as the market now must discount the possibility that some raises will be 0.75%. I don't believe we are headed into a long-term bear market but it's possible that the next week or two will feel like it.
