In early May and mid-June, I covered the Latin American oil companies YPF S.A. (YPF) and Ecopetrol (EC), respectively. In the case of YPF, the Argentine joint venture, I attempted to show in the report " YPF: Why I Still Think It's A Great Option " the advantages I continued to see not only for the country's macroeconomic situation but also in light of the leading role the company hopes to play in Argentina's economic growth and as one of the most important oil companies in Latin America.
