- This was the third straight month of contraction in retail trade, with high inflation and uncertainty continuing to weigh on consumers' moods.
- Sales of non-food were down 0.3% while food sales grew 0.2%.
- Meanwhile, retail sales sank 7.1% compared to February of 2022, a tenth straight decline.
- Food sales sank 7.6% and non-food 6.8%.
