Jobs are being cut

As the US government shutdown lingers on, its hard to say just how long it will be until Democrat and Republican lawmakers can come together to hammer out a short term funding agreement. Talking points are that the Democrats want Medicaid funding that would be utilized by undocumented immigrants which is of course refuted on their end. President Trump and his administration already wanted deep federal workforce cuts to trim the fat. Whether these talking points are accurate or not, it's still a political opportunity for the President to direct his department appointees to begin cutting their staff via furlough....
