- Harding Loevner is an investment manager that invests primarily in publicly traded global equities. We were founded in 1989 by former managers for the Rockefeller family.
- Total return for Harding Loevner International Equity Fund net of fees was 5.43% vs. MSCI All Country World ex-US Index total return of 5.64%.
- Health Care contributed the most to relative performance, helped by strong share price appreciation of three Swiss companies: Sonova Holding, Lonza, Roche.
- Offsetting these gains were weak stocks in Industrials and IT. Our two Japanese machinery companies, Komatsu and Kubota, each gave up some of last quarter's strong gains as Japna reinstated a pandemic state of emergency.
