Pinterest ( NYSE: PINS ) is on the move higher as the company announced a C-suite shake-up that brings the president of commerce at Google on board.
Also on the rise are shares of Patterson Companies, Inc. ( NASDAQ: PDCO ) and Stride, Inc. ( NYSE: LRN ). PDCO trades to the upside as the company topped earnings and revenue estimates. LRN gained ground as the company was upped to the S&P SmallCap 600 index. At the other end of the spectrum, Aspen Aerogels, Inc. ( NYSE: ASPN ) has crumbled more than 20%.

Shares of Pinterest ( PINS ) rose higher in premarket trading by 5.8% as the company announced that co-founder/CEO Ben Silbermann is stepping back from his role to transition to executive chairman of the board . Silbermann is being replaced by Bill Ready, who's been president of commerce at Google since 2020.
Patterson Companies, Inc. ( PDCO ) jumped 10.6% on Wednesday morning after the firm topped Q4 Non-GAAP EPS and revenue expectations . PDCO delivered Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.71 which surpassed forecasts by $0.15. Additionally, PDCO beat revenues by $50M.
Stride, Inc. ( LRN ) gained 7.3% early on as the for-profit education company finds itself moving into the S&P SmallCap 600 index.
Decliner
Aspen Aerogels, Inc. ( ASPN ) plunged 25.4% in early trading as the organization proposed concurrent public offerings of common stock and green convertible senior notes due 2027 . The electrification solutions provider plans to offer $225M of common stock and $150M of the notes.
