Alpha Tau ( NASDAQ: DRTS ) stock jumped 31% on Tuesday after dropping 16% in the prior session.
Shares of the Israeli medical device maker opened at $7.89. The stock recently changed hands at $9.91, up 31%, at approximately 12:05 p.m. ET.
Alpha Tau shares rallied in mid-June following news that it had received two licenses that would help it expand production. The stock tumbled 16% on July 1 amid no apparent news, SEC filing or press release from the company.
Based in Israel, Alpha Tau has developed an alpha radiation therapy device called Alpha DaRT for the treatment of solid tumors. The company went public in late February through a merger with SPAC Healthcare Capital that valued the combined company at a pro forma equity value of $1B.
