- JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF ( NASDAQ: JEPQ ) rose almost 1% after it was mentioned positively by a CNBC commentator.
- "You can get income and a more defensive way to own technology, instead of just owning either individual stocks or the QQQs," CNBC commentator Bryn Talkington said earlier Friday on the business network.
- If you want a defense way to play tech, JEPQ is an ETF that owns the main constituents of the Nasdaq 100, Talkington explained. JPMorgan sells about 3% to 5% out of the money calls.
- Earlier Friday, Amazon’s surge drives gains in consumer discretionary ETFs.
