SeaWorld Entertainment ( NYSE: SEAS ) announced that it will hold a national hiring event from June 5-9 as the theme park operator looks to fill 10K positions across its parks in the U.S. The hiring blitz will includes all six brands with parks located in California, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
SeaWorld Entertainment ( SEAS ) is hiring for a variety of seasonal, part-time and full-time positions. The areas being staffed include Lifeguards, Food & Beverage, Ride Operations, Retail, Guest Services, Park Quality, Ride Technician, Entertainment and more.
As part of its hiring incentives, SeaWorld is offering perks to its Ambassadors such as free park admission, complimentary and discounted tickets for friends and family, in-park discounts, employee referral bonuses, and exclusive ambassador events and attraction previews.
Last year, SeaWorld ( SEAS ) pointed to "lagging" staffing issues that impacted operations at some parks. The company turned to boosting mobile ordering at many parks to address the difficulty in staffing food an beverage positions.
Shares of SeaWorld ( SEAS ) rose 1.88% in early afternoon trading on Monday.
