- The SoFi Select 500 ETF is the only zero expense ETF available in the large-cap growth category, and since April 2019, has grown to $338 million in AUM.
- Expenses aren't the only thing that's zero, though. There are also zero screens for quality and zero screens for valuation.
- These important omissions have cost investors over 20% in the last two and a half years when compared to more established growth ETFs like SCHG and VUG.
- The lesson is that free isn't always free. Don't buy into a poor-quality ETF to save a few dollars each year in fees.
