- This was below expectations, although it should be able to produce much more in future quarters as the copper grade improves.
- Despite the low production levels, revenues went up by 40% compared to Q1 2020 as Taseko realized over US$4 for its copper during the quarter.
- Taseko expects the draft EPA permit for Florence Copper in June and the final permit in Q3 2021.
- This would be a significant catalyst, although the process has been quite slow so far.
