Tencent ( OTCPK:TCEHY ) ( OTCPK:TCTZF ) began internal testing its own artificial intelligence (AI) model, Hunyuan, and is now integrating the tool in several internal services and products, Reuters reported.
Tencent Cloud, Tencent Meeting and Tencent Docs are some of the services in which the tech giant is integrating Hunyuan, the report added .
The development comes after Chinese regulators published interim rules on generative AI in July, paving the way for companies like Tencent and Alibaba ( BABA ) to launch products with AI features after getting approvals.
Tencent also listed WeChat Search, Tencent Games, Tencent Advertising, QQ Browser, and Tencent Fintech as some businesses which have been testing Hunyuan, according to the report.
The company noted that initial effects have been achieved and more businesses and applications were in the process of being connected to the model.
