Steak-centric restaurant chain Texas Roadhouse (NASDAQ: TXRH) had been in the doldrums for most of 2019, but the stock spiked 20% following its recent third-quarter report. Turns out, its loyal customers like the food, and it has a business model that can be fine-tuned with good management. That's a sharp contrast to delivery service Grubhub (NYSE: GRUB). Its ugly Q3 report just showed precisely all the assets it doesn't have, and customer loyalty ranks high among them.
