- Williams Industrial Services ( NYSE: WLMS ) said on Monday that it and some of its units had filed for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a U.S. bankruptcy court in Delaware.
- WLMS had agreed to sell most its and its units' assets to EnergySolutions for $60M.
- The company added that EnergySolutions will acquire assets representing its nuclear, fossil, energy delivery, and paper mill operations.
- EnergySolutions will not acquire WLMS' operations related to its water contracts in Florida and Texas.
- WLMS said it had secured commitments for two debtor-in-possession financing credit agreements.
