Advantage Energy: Record Well Drilled

Advantage Energy (AAVVF) announced that a record-size well was drilled and the follow-up well was nearly as good. The first well came in at 4,567 BOED and produced some liquids. The next well came in at 3,067 BOED while producing only natural gas. That first well is about quintuple the production that was achieved routinely when I first began coverage of this company on the website some years back. It is enough of an advance that it may shift the company emphasis back towards natural gas in the future (which would slow the transition to liquids). That has been an ongoing situation for the company ever since I have covered the advances in technology that have steadily lowered costs....
