Curious little thing: Zoomers (or Gen Z as they are also known) appear less enamored with alcohol than previous generations. Even as Zoomers reach legal drinking ages, they’re not kicking back as much alcohol as Millennials or Gen X did when they were the same age. When I learned about this, I started to wonder how much of an impact it could have on companies like Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE: BUD ). As outlined below, this trend could be a considerable long-term threat, and Zoomers are not the only age demographic that BUD needs to worry about. Turns out, senior citizens are less likely to drink as well, and with that massive Boomer cohort now slipping into their golden years, declining alcohol consumption could impact BUD as well....
