Investment Thesis
After reviewing several ETFs from The Capital Group, like CGDV and CGGR , I have a pretty good sense of how they approach portfolio management, and I've always liked their approach that wisely blends the different skills and backgrounds of several experienced managers. That's why I'm not surprised to see the Capital Group Core Equity ETF ( CGUS ) deliver slightly better returns than the SPDR S&P 500 ETF ( SPY ) since its inception nearly four years ago. Relative to SPY, CGUS seems like a low-risk play, and ideally, shareholders may get a little extra bump in returns from active management over the years, should its managers correctly anticipate changing market conditions....
