If you’re a fan of “go big or go home” strategic moves, you may like what Columbus McKinnon ( CMCO ) has done with its acquisition of Kito Crosby. Such a major move to grow its footprint into a nascent industrial recovery could certainly prove savvy, but the company is taking on massive debt and potential equity dilution to do this, and I’m not sold on the long-term margin and return benefits of such a big move back into “big iron” versus Industry 4.0....
