Oil Prices Are Heading Lower

Right now, things are not going good for the oil patch. In the past, I had been bullish on the sector. Sometimes, this bullishness was premature. But I always argue that, in the long run, a price for crude oil as measured by WTI (CL1:COM) should be somewhere between $60 per barrel and $80 per barrel. Just recently, crude prices fell below that point, dropping to $59.71 as of this writing. That brings the price of crude down 16.7% this year so far....
