For the first quarter of 2025, the U.S. real estate investment trust market, as measured by the MSCI ( MSCI ) U.S. IMI Real Estate 25/ 50 Linked Index, gained 2.69%, significantly outperforming the-4.27% return of the broad U.S. stock market, according to the S&P 500 (SP500), (SPX)* index.
