Cariboo Rose and BRS Resources to Commence Drilling at Cowtrail Copper-Gold Project
(TheNewswire)
Vancouver, BC – TheNewswire - July 29 , 2025 – Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (TSXV:CRB) ( “ Cariboo Rose” ) and BRS Resources Ltd. ( “ BRS” ) arepleased to announce that a drill contract has been signed to begindiamond drilling at the Cowtrail Copper-Gold Project, located near thecommunity of Horsefly in south-central British Columbia.
The 4,592-hectare Cowtrail property is strategicallysituated 15 kilometers southeast of Imperial Metals ’ Mt. Polley Mine and borders VizslaCopper ’ s Woodjam andRedgold copper-gold projects. Cariboo Rose has held full ownership ofthe property since 2004.
Cowtrail is positioned within theJurassic – TriassicQuesnel Terrane, a prolific mineral belt hosting numerous copper-goldporphyry deposits. Historic reconnaissance drilling in 2007 and 2011tested induced polarization (IP) and soil geochemical anomaliesdefined by earlier surveys in 1997, 2004, and 2006. This workidentified a southwest-trending vector of increasing mineralizationextending beyond the areas previously drilled.
Drill intercepts from those campaigns returnedpromising results, including 1.16 g/t gold over 18.3 meters (hole07-DDH-1) and 0.17% copper with 0.11 g/t gold over 40.0 meters (holeCT11-12). Subsequent soil surveys in 2006 and 2021 outlined agold-arsenic anomaly coinciding with a strong IP chargeability feature1,500 meters west of the historic drill sites.
Recent Work and the 2025Program
In 2023, Cariboo Rose completed a five-hole drillprogram targeting the Lea Lake and BM Breccia areas. The mostsignificant result came from hole CT23-16, which intersected 0.15%copper over 105.0 meters, including 0.23% copper and 0.11 g/t goldover 15.0 meters.
This hole, collared 45 meters south of CT11-12,demonstrated strong continuity of mineralization and remains open tothe south.
Building on this success, the 2025 drill programwill focus on four new holes, each 250 – 300 meters deep, to further expandthe mineralized footprint at Lea Lake.
Under the terms of an option agreement dated December19, 2022, BRS Resources may earn a 60% interest in the CowtrailProject by:
• Funding $2,000,000 inexploration expenditures, and
• Providing $400,000 in a combination of cashpayments and share issuances over a five-year period.
Upon completion of these commitments, a joint venturewill be established, with BRS holding a 60% interest and Cariboo Roseretaining 40%. If Cariboo Rose ’ s interest is subsequently diluted below 15%, it will convertto a 2.5% net smelter return (NSR) royalty, which may be reduced to 1%through a one-time payment of $2,000,000.
