Cariboo Rose Resources Commences Drilling at Lightning Strike Gold-Silver Project
(TheNewswire)
Vancouver, British Columbia – TheNewswire - October 21st , 2025 – Cariboo Rose ResourcesLtd. ( “ Cariboo Rose ” or the “ Company ” ) (TSX-V: CRB) is pleased toannounce that diamond drilling has commenced at its 100%-owned Lightning Strike Gold-SilverProperty , located in the Cariboo region ofBritish Columbia, approximately 65 kilometres northeast of the community of 100 MileHouse .
Gold and gold-silver mineralization at Lightning Strikeoccurs within black phyllitesof Upper Triassic age (shale) . Significant drillintercepts reported to date include:
0.77 g/t gold over 54.0metres
3.42 g/t gold and 228.1 g/t silverover 5.0 metres
2.88 g/t gold over 24.0metres
8.84 g/t gold over 7.5metres
Historical work at Lightning Strike was first conductedby Homestake MiningCorp. in 1986, and later by Skygold Resources Ltd. (now SpanishMountain Gold Corp. ) between 2008 and 2010.These programs outlined a broad zone of gold and silver mineralizationwithin the western portion of the current Lightning Strike claimblock.
The associationof silver with gold in shale-hosted mineralization is unusual; however, individual drill samples from recentCariboo Rose drilling have returned up to 72.8 g/t silver ,while earlier Spanish Mountain Gold drilling reported values as highas 705.0 g/tsilver . In addition to being an importantaccessory product, silverserves as a valuable pathfinder element ,providing a vector toward higher-grade gold mineralization.
Shale-hosted golddeposits represent one of the most attractivemodels for large-scale gold systems globally, with world-classanalogues including the Muruntau and Sukhoi Log depositsin Russia.
In January2025 , Cariboo Rose successfully negotiated an option to acquire a 100%interest in a contiguous group of claimsencompassing the original Homestake discovery area and severalwell-mineralized drill intercepts (see Cariboo Rose news release dated February6, 2025 ). The Lightning Strike Project now covers 4,193hectares in total.
Cariboo Rose currently holds seven mineral projects inBritish Columbia , includingLightning Strike.
