Overview
With the rising popularity of new covered call ETFs launching, some investors may be fooled into thinking that these are new vehicles. However, Nuveen Dow 30 Dynamic Overwrite Fund ( DIAX ) has been around since 2005 and implements an option writing strategy on constituents of the Dow Jones Industrial Average to provide a high yield for shareholders. When I previously covered DIAX, I issued a buy rating due to the attractive dividend history and performance.
