While market indices continue to hover near all-time highs, it can be scary to accumulate equities at these higher valuations. However, income focused funds present a much more attractive value proposition during periods of uncertainty. For instance, BlackRock Corporate High Yield Fund ( HYT ) provides exposure to a diverse range of income producing securities that do not rely on a company's earnings growth to produce positive returns.
