My investment thesis for National Vision Holdings ( EYE ) was that its stock price didn’t fully reflect its turnaround efforts. I first wrote about the company in August , and its stock price is slightly lower than it was then. Meanwhile, National Vision Holdings posted even better third-quarter results than it posted in the second quarter. It’s made progress in multiple areas, such as rebranding its America’s Best stores, stocking new branded frames, and attracting higher-income customers. I originally rated this company a strong buy, but after changing my valuation method and considering the company’s current valuation and its likely performance in 2026, I’m downgrading it to a hold....
