FB Bancorp: Expect Shares To Keep Underperforming

In May of this year, one bank that I decided to dive into was FB Bancorp ( FBLA ). If you have not heard of the institution before, that wouldn't be surprising. As of this writing, it has a market capitalization of only $218 million. That makes it one of the smallest banks I write about. Even though smaller opportunities have a tendency to be overlooked by the market and, thus, have a history of being undervalued, that was not the case in my view when I wrote my previous article. Yes, the company was trading at a sizable discount to its book value , b ut profitability remained an issue and asset quality was abysmal....
