UK watch: Analysts see upside for Greggs despite first-half profit headwinds

British bakery chain Greggs' ( OTCPK:GGGSF ) ( OTCPK:GGGSY ) reported total sales for the 26-week period ending June 28 rose 7% to £1.03 billion, supported by a 2.6% increase in like-for-like sales at company-managed shops and a 4.8% rise at franchised outlets. During the period, operating profit declined by 7.1% to £70.4 million, and pre-tax profit fell 14.3% to £63.5 million. ...
