Following Novo Nordisk A/S's ( NVO ) decision to fight Pfizer Inc. ( PFE ) for obesity drug developer Metsera, Inc. ( MTSR ), we now have Danish pharmaceutical company H. Lundbeck A/S ( OTCPK:HLUBF ) ( OTCPK:HLBBF ) (HLUN-A.CO) (HLUN-B.CO) coming in with a higher bid for Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc ( AVDL ) despite a standing agreement between this developer of narcolepsy drugs and Alkermes plc ( ALKS )....
