When we last covered the Western Asset High Yield Opportunity Fund ( HYI ), it was discussing the approval from shareholders to go from a term-structured fund to a perpetual fund. This was approved on the back of the fund also being willing to conduct a tender offer for 100% of outstanding shares at 100% of NAV. This essentially gave the same ability to investors to "terminate" their position, but it became a choice for each investor....
