IGSB: Not Compelling As Reinflation Risks Continue

As a corporate bond ETF, the iShares 1-5 Year Investment Grade Corporate Bd ETF ( IGSB ) has both a credit-based YTM exposure (mainly single-A and BBB ratings) as well as a YTM exposure to benchmark rates, transmitted through a moderate 2.68-year duration . Being investment grade, there isn't too much variation in credit spreads, as the risks are quite low to begin with, but exposures to banking debt and cyclical debt at 29% and 9%, respectively, aren't particularly opportune given our view on the incoming dynamics. This reflects the discussion in our previous coverage where we didn't really see the need for the credit angle in FI bets at the time....
