If you bought stock in this company right now, it could shut down and give you back more cash than you paid for your shares. The market is effectively saying that Medifast and its OPTAVIA weight-loss MLM business have a value of less than zero. Medifast currently has a market cap of $117.57 million and $173.51 million in cash, as well as $12.26 million in debt. So, it has an EV of -$43.68 million.
