The parabolic rise in gold may be the most crucial trend in financial markets today. In my view, the precious metal bull market indicates a break in trust in the US Federal Reserve (and most of its global peers) to defend fiat currency stability. It is not surprising that precious metals are rallying as the Fed restarts rate cuts despite a relatively strong GDP growth outlook. To me, we cannot overlook the fact that Trump tested traditional Fed independence and has sought rate cuts to lower the US deficit....
