I last covered the ALPS O'Shares U.S. Quality Dividend ETF Shares ( OUSA ) on April 23, 2024, when I rated it a "hold" because, despite being one of the highest-quality ETFs available, its overall factor mix did not stand out, and its 0.48% expense ratio negatively contributed to its meager 1.77% dividend yield at the time. Today, OUSA's estimated dividend yield is just 1.40%, its three- and five-year dividend growth rates are flat, and it's underperformed on total returns compared to VIG and DGRO , two other lower-cost passive alternatives I compared OUSA with that day....
