Back in March of this year, we talked at length about applications of AI to the drug discovery process in the context of Recursion Pharmaceuticals ( RXRX ). During that conversation, we mentioned another AI healthcare name in passing that has stuck in our collective craw as of late: Tempus AI ( TEM ). Unsurprisingly, the “AI” in the name is a recent addition to what is otherwise a very standard molecular diagnostics startup from a serial entrepreneur.
