S&P 500 Snapshot: Index Falls To 6-Month Low

The S&P 500 ( SPX ) finished the week at its lowest level in over six months. The index posted a weekly loss of 1.9%, its fourth straight week in the red, and is now 6.77% off its all-time high from January 27, 2026. Here is a snapshot of the index from the past week:
