Trip.com (NASDAQ: TCOM ) rose in trading in Hong Kong and has been up in pre-market trading in the United States following strong quarterly results. There were some bearish concerns that earnings would fall short before the quarterly release, but TCOM flipped that script and massively outperformed EPS expectations, as shown below (Non-GAAP EPS=$4.02, beating expectations by $2.90). Revenues also beat expectations, although by a more modest 1.4% ( $10 million ), and were up 11.7% YOY....
