I started my investment journey (with whatever little I saved from my graduate school sponsorship) shortly after the dot-com bubble burst in the 2000s. It was a rewarding journey both intellectually and financially. Out of the booms, busts, and cycles I’ve experienced since then, one thing remained constant both at a macroscopic level and also in my own portfolios: the relentless growth of passively indexed funds.
