Energy Transfer ( ET ) is a great poster child for the tricky midstream environment I believe that we are entering: one where certain markets in the United States have overbuild conditions developing. When pipeline capacity exceeds volumes by a significant margin, large midstream companies have to start to try to tweak their systems to beat the competition, luring barrels onto their lines from their competitors.
