Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic is developing a new feature for its chatbot, Claude, enabling it to analyze images. 

This enhancement aims to expand the chatbot’s capabilities, potentially increasing its appeal to users and allowing Anthropic to compete with major AI chatbots like Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google’s Bard and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which already possess image analysis abilities. 

These abilities enable chatbots to perform tasks such as identifying dog breeds in photos, comparing images, or describing artworks, Bloomberg reports.
